LSA Announces 2019 Ad-to-Action Award Finalists

Representing the most innovative companies in local media and marketing, 10 Winners will be announced at the LSA19 conference in Dana Point, California

Troy, Michigan, January 29, 2019 — Today, the Local Search Association (LSA) announced finalists for the 2019 Ad-to-Action Awards. Now in its fourth year, the Awards recognize the top products, campaigns and software driving online-to-offline and local consumer actions. LSA received more than 80 submissions from media companies, agencies and technology providers from North America, Europe, India, Australia and Israel.

LSA will announce the winners on February 26th at its annual conference, LSA19, in Dana Point, Calif. 

The 2019 Ad-to-Action entries showcase innovative offerings from companies across the local marketing spectrum in 10 categories that include presence management, attribution, SMB SaaS, reputation management, local search and more. “The awards celebrate an industry influencing more than 90 percent of all consumer spending,” said Greg Sterling, LSA’s VP of Strategy.

The diverse panel of 18 judges consisted of experts from Disney, Walmart, Moz, Factual, Verizon Media Services, OMD, Google, Yelp, Amazon, Camilyo and more. The finalists reflect the most compelling campaigns, strategies and technologies in each of the categories.

Awards judge Ziv Koren from Camilyo said, “I was honored to be invited again to judge in this year’s Ad-to-Action awards, the local marketing industry is evolving at a neck-breaking pace and the only way to stay completive is to constantly innovate. Innovation is the only court in which small startups can outplay online giants and the LSA awards provide such companies with a great stage to get exposure and recognition. “

Each of the judges evaluated their assigned entries using a 10-point scale and criteria that included:

  • Uniqueness and innovation
  • Effectiveness and ability to generate intended outcomes
  • Ability to address advertiser problems or challenges
  • Ease of use or implementation
  • Potential/actual ROI

“The entries this year were robust and well thought through, which made the judging and comparison process challenging. The panel of judges certainly had their work cut out for them, I look forward to seeing who wins,” said Whitney Hart, SVP of Strategy, Investis Digital.
